Today, though, I was ON. I knew the weather would be OK, I knew the sun wasn't setting until 8 p.m., I was feeling fine, I had gotten enough sleep, and I didn't have any plans. Even though I worked a long day and had to spend several hours working a special event where I — gasp — had to interact with and be nice to people, I knew today was a perfect day to go run.
I headed out after work and did 6.5 around my neighborhood in juuuuust less than an hour. Nothing special, but it felt good to be alive in the crisp air, with my legs moving and my blood pumping.
