You don't really have to be good at swim, bike, and run. You just have to work harder than the person behind you.

Back in the water and it feels so good
I never thought I would actually look forward to getting back in the pool, but aaaahhhhh did it feel good to swim a few laps this morning.
I was even up before my 5:10 a.m. alarm so I knew I would be ready to go and waiting at the pool door when the lifeguard unlocked it. It's a sickness, I know.
I took it easy and only did 2000 meters, the first half drills, and I was slow. But, this was not unexpected. It had been two weeks (!!!) since I hit the pool, and a week and a half since I did any swimming at all.
Now, let's see what work I can do in the water between now and race day. The countdown stands at 39 days. Eeek!
